REVIEW: NUDESTIX Concealer Pencil

NSR1

I honestly believe that cosmetics should enhance ones face, not camouflage it. I am no stranger to the dreaded pimple and have been plagued with hyper-pigmentation for decades, but I still think skin should look like skin and the NUDESTIX concealer pencil does just that.

Yes, I have too have been guilty of caking on the foundation in my adolescence, however with age I have come to appreciate a more natural looking complexion. I tend to stick to tinted moisturizers or a bit of concealer on a day-to-day basis and save my foundation for when I wear my fancy pants.

NUDESTIX concealer pencil has a creamy consistency that blends easily with a brush or simply your fingertips. It has medium coverage, but is very buildable without looking too heavy on the skin.

The things I like most about this concealer is that it contains Vitamin E and Shea Butter, so it leaves your skin moisturized and more radiant looking.

I purchased the following:
Medium 4: Too light for covering my dark spots, but worked well for highlighting.
Medium 5: A good match for my skintone and worked perfectly for my hyper-pigmentation.
Medium 6: A bit too dark with pink undertones. Would presumably work well for contouring.

The packing for the concealer pencil is pretty luxurious.

Its comes in a sleek black tin with a mirror inside, which is great for transporting your concealer; as well as, other cosmetic necessities.

It also conveniently includes a pencil sharpener. It’s really quite handy.

Overall NUDESTIX concealer pencils have a matte finish, are very light on the skin, and doesn’t feel sticky to the touch. Most importantly, my skin feels like it can breathe.

And yes.. some of my blemishes are still noticeable, but that’s the beauty of it. It still looks like my skin, just better.

  1. I may actually have to try these. I notice there are no parabens listed in the ingredients, which is a big plus. Also, I have super sensitive skin which breaks out if I even look at foundations.
