Proust Questionnaire Quarterly

For those of you who have never heard of the Proust Questionnaire, its is essentially a series of questions that supposedly gives insight about taker’s taste, aspirations and personality. Quite honestly, thirty-five questions is a bit much and my attention span falters just thinking of it. So, before I digress…

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Gratitude and absolute contentment in one’s current state, regardless of wealth or circumstance.

What is your greatest fear?
Waking up one morning wondering what I did with my life and wishing I had gone about things differently.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
My inability to finish anything. Either, I am too easily distracted or dislike the idea of imperfection or I simply just get bored.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Sheer rudeness and inefficiency.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Humility. I think it’s extremely important to have confidence and to be able to acknowledge just how spectacular you really are, because if you don’t.. no one else will. Why be subtle?

Where would you most like to live?
Scandinavia or United Kingdom

What do you most value in your friends?
Loyalty & Sarcastic Wit

Who are your favorite writers?
Palahniuk, Kafka, Salinger

What is your motto?
Don’t be a pansy.

… and there you have it, an insight into my innermost thoughts, personality traits and character flaws. Now, for my amusement please leave me your responses in the comments.

Cheers!

  1. Completely agree with your first four answers, especially not being able to finish anything. 🙂
They say that’s a trait of highly intelligent people who get bored with mundane things quickly. Just saying.
